Sunday I went to Soos for the first time after wanted to go for a very long time. It was worth the wait! I also got to see Los Bitchos perform at The Great Hall. There's something so aspirational about 5 women just absolutely shredding on stage.
Monday and Tuesday I was at my home away from home, The Revue. I saw Tim Burton's Batman on Monday and House on Tuesday. The first time I watched House was at home and I have to say that seeing it on a big screen with other people was a much better experience. I was able to see the creative choices and aesthetics that make the movie so popular in a much different light. After the movie, I grabbed banh mi at Konia, which is one of my new favourite restaurants right now.
On Wednesday I caught up on chores and started playing the new Zelda game. Unfortunately, my brain becomes addicted to new games so as I'm sitting in Zoom meetings during the day, I can only think of wanting to explore the Rift after work.
Thursday I took my old ass to the fred again.. concert with my sister. While I'm fairly new to his catalogue, seeing him live made me a convert. Watching him mix his tracks spontaneously on the spot using a rigged-up piano was super cool.
